I've seen an old man capture edited by Syahrin.. else.. i'd say this is a very good one. Your subject is.. good. Mean if you hafta choose from a number of subjects.. the old man did express that he got no one around. You've got the moment when he's at his best expression.. i guess. Agree with the color scheme. However, i'd say it's less dramatic (i compared this capture with Syahrin's). I do not know how or what.. but i guess there still is something to be done with the face. Love the composition.. what and how much background you've got there.. and how much it's been blurred. You mentioned there'll be more to come.. i'm waitin. Actually Noe.. i'd love to see how you capture the whole scene.. not too focus (cropped) to the subject. For what i have in mind.. you do have the touch on this.. i'd like to learn.. that is. I imagine that there are the whole group of old peoples the at Rumah Ehsan.. and you need to focus on someone.. but having the others in the shot as well. That's all i can say.. for that's all that i think i know.. Selamat Hari Raya by the way..
Ahh.. one more thing.. if you meant to tell that this man is from rumah orang tua (not necessarily Rumah Ehsan).. i wouldn't have got it if not for your title. I tot he was in the hospital.. the bed. If the shot is meant to tell that he's alone in this world.. i got the message.
dari segi expression, maybe dah okay kot. tapi kalau tengok sekali lagi, boleh kata pakcik ni macam heran kenapa ada orang nak amik gambar dia. dari segi composition, kalau nak tunjukkan pakcik ni keseorangan, kena la include some negative space yang takde orang. perhaps if the pakcik was looking away, towards the negative space, boleh la menonjolkan rasa keseorangan pakcik ni. the colors are okay with this picture. black and white would work well too, and don't forget to add just a small amount of film grain, if you're not shooting with high iso.
